About the event
🐘Join us on September 22 to honor National Elephant Appreciation Day at the zoo. We will meet at the south entrance before visiting the elephant habitat to observe and enjoy the zoo’s elephant tribe.
Soaring Connections will provide themed activity resources including puzzles, “learn to draw” guides, crosswords, word searches, mosaics, and sticker puzzles to help participants learn and experience everything elephant. Come with any questions you have about elephants and enjoy a day of discovery.
Participants can bring a cold lunch to enjoy a picnic lunch with the group. Participants should bring any support staff needed to fully enjoy the day.
