At the heart of Soaring Connections is one word: community.
Soaring Connections was created to bring together individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD), their families, self-directed providers, and the broader community. Everyone deserves the chance to live a life filled with connection, purpose, and belonging. True inclusion happens when people are welcomed, involved, and valued in relationships and shared experiences.
More families are choosing self-directed services to gain control, flexibility, and support that fits their lives. Without clear tools, training, or systems in place, it can be difficult to build lasting, sustainable support. Finding qualified providers is often one of the biggest challenges they face.
Soaring Connections offers a practical, community-based solution. We help individuals and families access trained, trusted providers through a values-based matching process. We support providers in building high-quality, individualized practices through training and shared resources. We also create opportunities for engagement, inclusion, and shared experience across the broader community.

As we grow, we’re introducing a flexible membership model that reflects this mission.
Individuals and providers will be able to access personalized tools, register for inclusive activities, and take part in training and consultation options designed to build meaningful, lasting support.
Our work is grounded in hands-on experience with self-directed services, professional training, and inclusive community development. We believe strong communities are built when connection and belonging are part of everyday life.
